Accommodation
On The Farm
Accommodation in the
farmhouse is in double rooms or, if available, shared yurts (with beds).! It's simple, comfortable and beautiful but
not luxurious or en suite. If you have
problems with mobility or need a single room please let us know. It is also possible to
camp. The campsite
and yurts are up and open from April till the end of September.
The price of
accommodation for courses in 2012 is £70 for the weekend
which includes full board from Friday supper (7pm) till Sunday tea
time (5pm). All bedding/towels are provided. Participants can have
free accommodation on Sun night if required (but evening meal is not
provided) Accommodation for 3 day courses is £95 and 4 day £120. Food
is home cooked and fresh from the farm where ever possible. We produce
most of our own vegetables, meat and cheese.
Camping fees for
those bringing their own tents are £6/person/night. Compost loo and
solar shower (hot water not guaranteed!) are provided. Cooking
and dining is in our converted bus which is kitted out for self
catering There is a camping yurt (just mattresses provided and using
same facilities) for £12/night.
Stout footwear, warm
clothing, and waterproofs would be useful.
