Pole Lathe

manager, furniture, gate and hurdle maker
In this two day course you
will make a pole lathe to take home. (Choice of 2 designs) Basic
woodworking tolls will be used - saw, brace and bit, shaving horse,
bench plane and draw knife. You will be shown how to construct a
shaving horse if
interested (but will not
produce one yourself) On the second day (when time permits) you will
be given instruction in basic turning.
Fee : £170 (includes
lunches and materials)
ACCOMMODATION £70 in shared
yurts. All meals included from Friday 7pm -Sunday 4.30. Free yurt
space on Sunday night if required. Pillows and sheets provided but
please bring your own duvet or sleeping bag.
